Description
Large traditional engraving on Rosaspina Avorio paper. Different techniques have been used, such as etching, graining, burins, wheels, scrapers and burnishers.
The engraving is a tribute to Arnold Böcklin and Rodriguez Acosta, the painter from Granada, where part of the oil painting « The Island of the Dead » by Böcklin and architectural elements from the studio-workshop of the Spanish artist Rodriguez Acosta have been combined.
The engraving has been printed in my personal workshop and there is only an limited, exclusive edition of 10 prints.
The paper used is Rosaspina Avorio and the ink Charbonnel Noir Luxe C.
