In addition to your Seller Space on Welcome Prints, you are required to create a Stripe account.

Creating this account will allow you to receive payments when artwork sales are completed with buyers.

Setting up this account is mandatory. Without it, you won’t be able to add any artworks to your Seller Space on Welcome Prints.

To create your account, you will need the following information:

Business company number, IBAN, and a copy of your ID card (either a scan or a photo).

Please note that the following guide is intended to assist artists registered as micro-entrepreneurs or individual entrepreneurs. For artists or studios opting for a company or association status, additional information not covered in this guide will be required.

Once you have access to your Seller Space on the website www.welcome-prints.com, you can create your Stripe account by navigating to the Settings > Payment tab.

You will then be redirected to the Stripe interface to create your account directly on their platform. Your Stripe account will be linked to the Welcome Prints platform.

Please note that you will be able to use your Stripe account independently of the Welcome Prints platform.

To begin, you will need to enter your email and create a password.
To complete this setup, Stripe will ask you to scan a QR code with your phone using a free authentication app.

If you prefer to authenticate in a more traditional way, you can also receive a code via SMS by clicking on « use SMS instead. »

Once you have set up and secured your account, all that remains is to enter basic information about your business, such as the type of structure (self-employed, company, association, etc.), your business company number, and your address.

Industry

You must choose the type of products you will be selling on Welcome Prints. Unfortunately, there is no category that corresponds to artworks or art prints. Therefore, you will need to select > Other merchandise.

Company Website

Stripe also requires you to enter your website address. You will also need to include the address of the platform www.welcome-prints.com where you will be selling your artworks.

Product Description
In this section, you can provide an overall description of the type of artworks you will be selling, specifically original art prints. Feel free to include details about the techniques used.

Next, Stripe will ask for some basic information about you as the business owner (this part may not be required depending on your type of business).

After that, you will need to add your IBAN so that you can receive payments from your various sales into your bank account.

For the final step, you will need to configure the information that will appear on payment statements, invoices, and receipts. You can enter www.welcome-prints.com.

You can uncheck the “Show phone number on receipts and invoices” option. The buyer can send their requests directly to Welcome Prints.

Finally, Stripe will ask you to confirm your information and validate your registration. To complete your registration, you may need to provide a scan or photograph of your ID card.
