"Dirk Franx - portrait of the inventor as a young man".
("Dirk Franx - portret van de uitvinder als jong man")
was a commission piece I was invited to do for an exhibition space in the town of Zoetermeer. This cultural center is housed in the former home and workshop of local inventor and draftsman Dirk Franx.
This print was blown up to fully decorate a wall at the entrance of the building.

This photopolymer, or solar plate, etching is hand pulled in a limited edition of only 20 copies on 300 grams Hahnemühle etching paper.
